An island nation to the East of Australia. I had to come here for some sandy beaches and try my hand at the national sport...surfing!
I’d read a lot about Fiji’s famed island of Namotu where surfing is serious business. Having never surfed before I wasn’t about to tackle the great surf spots like Cloudbreak or Namotu Lefts but I did take some lessons...not successful lessons but lessons nonetheless. After only barely standing up once as wave after wave swept me to shore I decided to sit back and watch the professionals at Cloudbreak. Incredible!
Join me as we'll discover and learn about the world and every country it has to offer. I'll delve into my favourite experience, sight or people that I visit and meet along the way and give you some fun facts. I'll also be taking a snap as I travel so take a peel below to see where I've been so far.
