One of the most diverse and least explored countries on earth. Let the adventure begin.
In September I travelled to Papua New Guinea for one reason only...the great Goroka Festival. This festival is like no other, in a country like no other. As well as being rich in flora and fauna due to its dense and untouched rainforests, Papua New Guinea is also rich in culture.
This relatively small nation speaks over 800 different languages due to its many many 100s of tribes. Every year up to 100 tribes gather in Goroka to celebrate their different cultures. Everyone dresses their own tribes unique colourful costumes and dances, songs and general merriment ensues. An incredible celebration to witness and one that I’m sure never to forget.
Join me as we'll discover and learn about the world and every country it has to offer. I'll delve into my favourite experience, sight or people that I visit and meet along the way and give you some fun facts. I'll also be taking a snap as I travel so take a peel below to see where I've been so far.
